LaSharra and Alex and I drove up Big Cottonwood Canyon together on a freeeeezing cold day to take these absolutely magical engagement photos at Jordan Pines campground. I loved the bright blue pop of Sharra's coat against the bright white snow, and we got the most beautiful glow from the alpine sunset behind the evergreens!

It's COOOOLD today, so I went back to some summer sessions to warm me up! Back in July, some fellow creatives in the wedding industry put together a beautiful styled shoot up in the rolling hills near Jordanelle Reservoir (Heber, Utah). Megan was our beautiful model bride. Simply put, gorgeousness ensued. Click through for more pictures!
Back in May, I had the pleasure of tagging along with my friend and fellow photographer, Jamie (of Jamie Tervort Photography), to help capture George and Carri’s wedding day. They were married in Ogden, at one of the most beautiful venues – The Grand View Reception & Event Center. The best thing was the way George looked at Carri and the way she looked at him all day. George just looked like he couldn’t believe how lucky he was to be marrying her, and Carri had the biggest, happiest smile across her face the entire day.
Stephanie and Nick were married in the Draper LDS Temple in June. It was the perfect day – just a little warm, with a nice breeze (seriously, when is that temple ever not windy?) and clouds scattered here and there to give us a little shade. Nick and Stephanie were so laid back and everything was simple, but perfect. I loved capturing their special day!
In June, I was able to second shoot Greg and Alyssa’s wedding with good friend and fellow photographer Glenn Pearson of Pearson Photography. The couple tied the knot in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, with a party of a reception held later that evening at the American Fork Amphitheater! It is a wedding I won’t soon forget. The amphitheater was lit by glowing overhead globe lights; a live band filled the evening air with dance-worthy music; and the park was filled with treats for guests - hand-scooped ice cream cookie sandwiches, a snow cone station by local favorite Hokulia, a taco truck, delicious sandwiches by local restaurant Marley’s Gourmet Sliders…The cherry on top was when the bride and groom took a break in the middle of the reception to play a little baseball with the bridal party!
ELIJIO & ADELITA | WEDDING AT SALT LAKE CATHEDRAL OF THE MADELEINE | BRIDALS AT MEMORY GROVE9/20/2017 Adelita and Elijio helped me fulfill one of my dreams this last month – photographing a wedding at Salt Lake City’s absolutely stunning Cathedral of the Madeleine. The cathedral is a Roman Catholic church that was completed in 1909 and currently serves as the mother church,of the Diocese of Salt Lake City. It has the most beautiful Gothic revival architecture, and it was the perfect place for Adelita and Elijio to be married.
