Back in January, Kandice and Jentry took me to explore West Canyon, up in the northwest corner of Eagle Mountain, and we had a blast taking their engagements. Kandice and Jentry met in high school, and their wedding date was 5 years EXACTLY since they got together! How romantic is that?! Jentry proposed to Kandice in Las Vegas on the High Roller, and in her words, "It was absolutely perfect!"

Ryan and Cherisa were sealed in the Manti Utah LDS Temple in April, on the most beautiful spring day. Typical for Utah, the week before there had been rain and snow, so we didn't know how the weather would be for their wedding, but it was perfect! The Manti Temple is special to Cherisa, because several members of her family serve in it. Her great uncle performed the ceremony, and a lot of both of their families traveled to attend.
Madi and Tony's wedding day was wonderful! Tony had so much family travel for the sealing at the Bountiful Temple - they came from South America, Mexico, and California. I loved seeing them all fill up the steps of the temple and congratulate the happy newlyweds! Madi and Tony couldn't stop smiling the entire day, and their happiness was infectious.
We met up early one spring morning to take these stunning bridal portraits of Cherisa and Ryan, one day before their wedding. Can I just say how much I love morning sessions? They are seriously some of my favorites. The light is soft and beautiful, it's nice and cool, and we're not racing the light - it just gets brighter and warmer as the session goes on. Plus, it's nice to get photos done early in the day so you can spend the rest of your day doing other things instead of prepping for pictures! We walked all over the International Peace Gardens, which has lots of different sections dedicated to different cultures and parts of the world. It was so green and the perfect backdrop for this sweet first look and bridal session.
If I could use one word to describe Tyler and Charlie's wedding at Layton's Chantilly Mansion, it would be PARTY! Their wedding was so elegant and beautiful, but so FUN at the same time! From the sweet little details of Charlene's dress and her grandmother's sixpence, which she carried with her, to the games the DJ played with guests throughout the night, this wedding was planned to a T. I loved that we got to sneak away right after the ceremony for some intimate portraits of the new husband and wife.
I first met Emily back in 2015 when I took photos of her with her 4 beautiful children. Love, love, love when clients stay with you as you grow, and back in September, I was honored to photograph her wedding to Sam, her Prince Charming, at Eagle Mountain’s Garden on the Green.
