Mather Extended Family | McPolin Barn, Park City, UT

​I took photos of this extended family up at McPolin Barn in Park City, Utah in late August. Some people shy away from extended family shoots – it’s a lot of people to corral, and it’s easy to miss all the little details, but I absolutely love them! 

I have met Tyler and Emily and their little girl before – I photographed Ty and Emily’s wedding, and they hired me for an apple orchard mini session this last spring, but I hadn’t really met the rest of Emily’s family until this shoot. They were so wonderful to work with, and I especially loved the colors Rose chose for everybody to wear.
 
We started out in the open shade near the white barn until the sunlight softened up a bit, and then we moved out to the open field, where the mountains in the background are just stunning.
