Julia and Ammon were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on an absolutely gorgeous spring day. As soon as they exited, everyone commented on her dress, and it was a stunner. She looked gorgeous in champagne-colored eyelet lace, fitted mermaid-style. Ammon did a good job showing her off haha. After group photos on the steps, we headed into the pink blossom-laden trees for some fun bridal party photos and then photos of just the couple. I loved seeing the tender attention Ammon gave Julia, and the way she lit up around him. Their reception was in an LDS church, and Julia did such a great job decorating it shabby chic, with a nod to her farm roots. She grew up working at a feed yard managed by her dad, and then later on a dairy in Utah. Her dad (actually my dad, too, since we’re sisters!) sang “ I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You,” which he also sang for my wedding and my other sister’s wedding, and it was definitely a highlight of the day. Julia and Ammon, I was so honored to photograph your wedding day. I am beyond happy that you found each other, and that you have continued to love and honor and serve one another. Happy (belated) first anniversary!
