JIM AND DENA SMITH FAMILY | EAGLE MOUNTAIN Extended FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

Jim and Dena are my neighbors. Well, they live a few streets over but out here, in the small community we’re a part of, we’re pretty much all neighbors. Jim and Dena raised 10 children together, and if you get to know their family at all, you learn that they were raised on the principles of hard work, honesty, and kindness. It’s apparent in everything they do and the way they are raising their families now. It was quite a feat getting everyone together in one place to take this photo, and they only day we could make it work was by scheduling it for the day before Christmas, so that is exactly what we did. They had the great idea of pulling the Steiger tractor around near the spot where we were taking photos for a few pictures, and I’m so glad we did! The day was overcast and threatening rain, but luckily it held off and made for some awesome, epic skies! I loved this session so much I entered it in a photo contest with Shoot and Share, and it ended up as a finalist out of more than 22,000 entries!
